Organ Lessons
Organ Lessons are designed to help students develop their skills in playing the organ, focusing on technique, musicality, and repertoire.
Lessons can be on the Hauptwerk organ in my studio or, in special cases, at a student's instrument.
I participate in the Greater Hartford Chapter AGO's scholarship program that gives persons interested in learning to play the organ the opportunity to undertake formal study of the instrument. Click here for more information.

Music Notation using
Dorico Software
Back in the mid 1990s, I started using music notation software with a program called Personal Composer. Two decades later, I upgraded to Sibelius, and in 2022 became an early user of the new Dorico program. I have used these programs for:
- making short music inserts for church bulletins
- creating hymn inserts
- instrumental parts for hymns and anthems
- larger projects
- transposing existing sheet music by scanning and/or importing into the notation program
Let me know if you would like me to make some of these things for you!
"I thank you for your calm and absolutely astounding knowledge of the realm of sacred music – and of the human heart."
